Sophie Guibaud, Nominee Director at IFC and Co-Chair of the MENA Fintech Association’s Saudi Arabia Chapter, joins FinTech TV’s Raghda Ibraheem for an interview nominated by MENA Fintech Association, unpacking what Saudi Arabia is building through Humain, the Public Investment Fund’s AI infrastructure arm.

Humain has brought Nvidia, AMD and Qualcomm into the same buildout: a 500MW AI factory partnership with Nvidia, a $10 billion, 500MW compute partnership with AMD over the next five years, and a 200MW inferencing deployment with Qualcomm starting in 2026. Guibaud explains why an AI factory is not a data centre, why 500MW of continuous power is roughly the annual electricity use of 800,000 French households, and why running all three chip suppliers in parallel signals Saudi Arabia’s positioning in global AI infrastructure.
