Hari Menon, Partner and Executive Vice President at Intellect Design Arena and MFTA corporate member, joins FinTech TV’s Raghda Ibraheem for an interview nominated by MENA Fintech Association, shortly after Forrester named Intellect’s WealthForce.ai platform a Notable Vendor in its Digital Wealth Management Platforms Landscape, Q2 2026 report.
Menon reframes the industry’s favourite phrase. It is not human in the loop, it is AI in the loop: the human advisor, the human risk manager and the human regulator own the end-to-end decision, while AI surfaces idle funds, rebalancing opportunities and compliance risk at a scale no individual could monitor manually. WealthForce.ai, built on Intellect’s composable eMACH.ai architecture, is designed around that same principle, agentic automation for compliance monitoring and portfolio analytics, with the advisor retaining control throughout.
He also names what he calls the Great Recalibration: growing client expectations, increasing data complexity and a shortage of experienced advisors are colliding with legacy systems across wealth management. His argument is architectural rather than promotional. Platforms need to be microservices-ready, API-ready, cloud-agnostic and AI-agnostic, or firms risk rebuilding the same legacy stack again within three to five years.
His closing line: the most expensive transformation is the one you are not doing.
Topics discussed: Forrester’s Notable Vendor recognition, AI in the loop versus human in the loop, agentic AI in compliance and risk, wealth management architecture, the Great Recalibration.
