EFG Hermes has launched Younit, an algorithmic trading API platform in Egypt. The platform is available through EFG Hermes ONE and provides market data, automation tools, APIs, software development kits and testing environments. This launch is intended to support the Egyptian Exchange’s efforts to modernize the capital market and expand technology-enabled participation.
With Younit, users can evaluate investment ideas, visualize portfolios and build trading applications. Retail traders can test rule-based strategies against historical data and use conditional execution tools. Developers can build strategies, analytics dashboards and portfolio or basket-trading products, while students can turn academic projects into practical market tools and take part in performance-based challenges.
